    Full review of Alamo Poker
AlamoPoker offers the standard games you will find at other online poker rooms; limit, pot-limit, and no-limit Hold'em, Omaha and Hi/Lo, and 7 Card Stud and Hi/Lo. One of the unique games they offer is 5 card draw. I have not yet played at an online poker room that offers this.

Their ring games have limits for every player, new and high-rollers. Alamo Poker uses a 10-player full ring standard, but offer 5-6 max and Heads Up tables. Their limit stakes range from $.15 - $.30 to $500 - $1000. Their no-limit stakes start at $.05 - $.10, and go as high as $50 - $100. This poker room has some of the highest stakes out there today, yet still has full tables for all the new comers.

Their tournaments aren't as popular as their ring tables, but still fill up quite quickly. The Sit & Go's are for Hold'em no-limit and limit, along with Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, and the unique pot-limit 5 Card Draw. The no-limit Hold'em games fill up fast, but Omaha and 5D take a while to get a game started. The stakes range from $5 + $.50 to $500 + $25. One of the most unique features I noticed was the all-in percentage. When 2 or more players end up all-in, a percentage bar shows up underneath all players involved, indicating the percent they have to win the hand.

Alamo Poker's Multi-Table-Tournaments are growing in popularity everyday. They have daily tournaments ranging from $2 + 0 (No rake!) which is $4,000 guaranteed, to $50 + $4 which is $13,000 guaranteed. They also have many qualifiers, from the WSOP and WPT, along with a few European tournaments.

The feature I enjoyed the most was the ability to create private tables. This is also something that I have not encountered at any other online poker rooms. On Alamo Poker, you and friends can create or join private ring games or sit & go tournaments.

Depositing was very easy on Alamo Poker. The options they have available are:

Alamo VIP Debit Card, Neteller, Nexum, Click 2 Pay, EPassporte, E-Wallet, 900 Pay, Credit Card, and Fire Pay.

I used Neteller and my funds showed up within minutes. After depositing, you must transfer your deposit from your cashier account to your poker account. This was confusing at first and could not figure out how to get my money to the tables.

AlamoPoker's software is only accessible through their website. They use Java so that every operating system can play together. This is a nice feature for the Mac and Linux users, but I prefer to have a software download to play online poker. It was a minor inconvenience to have to login and play through my web browser. Also, because of the online interface, there are no hand histories to save to your desktop. This is a disadvantage for people who enjoy using programs that require these files.

The lobby is very straight forward. It even includes a chat feature for you to talk to other players. The tabs at the top are very easy to sort through. I could find my way to the limits I wanted to play very easily. You can also easily switch between displaying ring games, or tournaments.

One of the disadvantages I noticed was the inability to sort through tables. The tables are automatically sorted by limit, but you can not sort by table name. Also, being that the software is accessible only through your browser, if your web browser happens to crash, or you accidentally close the lobby, all the tables close as well.

The tables are a basic 10-person layout, with avatars already built in to each seat. I could not locate an option to remove these avatars, and it was hard to get use to. Play is fast and easy to follow. The software alerts you when it is your turn and you have plenty of time to make decisions.
