Full review of CD PokerCD Poker is a very fast growing poker room in the iPoker network which uses PlayTech's poker software. As lots of the players come from other online casinos in the PlayTech network, the poker games are very loose with lots of wild gamblers and less savvy poker players.
CD Poker has a number of good promotions as they are making a big marketing push in the summer of 2005. CD Poker's software has a nice look and feel, with colorful graphics. The functionality is good after a big software update and the games run smooth and fast. There is quite decent player volume and games are spread in Holdem and Omaha (High and High-Low) both in ring games, as well as heads-up, sit-and-go and multi-table tournaments.
Established in 2004, CDPoker (also known as Club Dice Poker and CD Poker) is part of the iPoker network of online poker rooms which includes, among others, Noble Poker. iPoker's slogan is "The Next Big Thing In Online Poker," and they certainly have the potential, but still have a long way to go.
CD Poker serves up three poker games (Texas Hold'em, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo) and some other casino games including Blackjack and a few video poker-type games, all of which can be played for real money. CDPoker does not, however, offer 7-Card Stud. Compared to most other poker rooms, CDPoker has smaller ring game stakes that range from penny stakes to just $5/$10 max for no-limit and $10/$20 max for limit. CD Poker also has MTTs that frequently attract 50-100 players (or 500 for their daily freerolls), 6 and 10-player sit & gos, as well as heads-up tourneys.
