The sign-up bonus, $100 at 50% deposit match, is on par with the industry average. Deposit $200 to get the maximum bonus. The bonuses at Poker.com are paid in a lump sum which is not great but as compensation there is no time limit. For every 150 player points earned, $1 is credited to your pending bonus account.

Launched in May 2005, Poker.com is a fresh, independent poker room making a serious stab at the online poker market (they certainly have a great name for doing just that). The software is decent but needs a few updates to be completely satisfactory. The player volume is not great but still surprisingly good given that they are a stand alone room just starting out in the business. Poker.com does not have a lot of game variety yet, with only Texas Hold'em and Omaha High offered. There are quite a few high value promotions at Poker.com, most notably they offer a $20,000 weekly freeroll. Poker.com currently has 400-600 ring game players at peak hours and 500-800 tournament players (December 2005).
